WORK
I joined NewsNation in June of 2020, as the startup network's first producer hire.​After months of rehearsals, I launched the first show in September 2020, and line produced hours of regular and breaking news programming.
​In less than three years I was promoted three times to Senior Producer, Executive Producer and Executive Producer of Special Projects and Events.
​From major live political events like Election Night, the GOP Presidential Debate, Inauguration Day and Town Halls, to documentaries and hour-long news specials, I manage, plan and execute creative and compelling coverage across all departments and staff.
​I understand the complex world of the television industry, from newsgathering and planning, to promotions and digitals, to budgets and technical components while juggling numerous projects at once.
​I am a sharp, efficient, organized and reliable leader in the field and leading control rooms.
2018 - 2020
Producer, KMSP Fox 9, Minneapolis

I consistently produced the top-rated 9:00 p.m. newscast in addition to special sports programming throughout the week and weekend.
​
During my time in Minneapolis I was the lead producer for major stories in the control room, including George Floyd's death and the aftermath, the incredible rescue of Jayme Closs, the Jacob Wetterling case, the polar vortex and other severe weather.
2016 - 2018

In my first newsroom job, I oversaw and produced hours of coverage on the weekends, including writing, editing and managing staff.
​
I was promoted to lead producer of the evening shows, where I led the launch of the station's brand new CW newscast, taking on responsibilities from shot and set design to editorial decisions.
